Common questions

Can I do both in one trip?

Yes, and a lot of people do — a balloon morning and a paragliding afternoon on separate days. Do not schedule both on the same day; the weather logic and the driving do not line up.

Which is more likely to be cancelled?

Both are weather-dependent in different ways. Ballooning needs light surface wind at dawn; paragliding needs the wind to come from the right direction for a specific slope. Neither is reliably safer from cancellation.

Which is better for a nervous flyer?

Usually the balloon: it is calm, and you are standing in an enclosed basket. If height itself is the concern, note that most people find the balloon's height less confronting than a chair lift.
